About me

I am a experienced Yoga Teacher, Postural Stability Instructor (falls prevention) iMoveFreely Pilates Instructor and Meditation Teacher I am dedicated to 50+ students or those new to exercise, I have over 25 years of experience as a Fitness Professional, including  14 years as a qualified Adult learning Tutor/Lecturer in Health & Fitness, I am devoted to my Health and Exercise journey I am passionate about teaching I am dedicated to my students. I am omJane.

What I do

My style of teaching

I would describe my method of teaching as professional with a friendly open inclusive approach, I invite students in all classes to exercise with an awareness of their own unique bodies, whilst exploring new ways of moving the body, gaining a stronger more supple & mobile physique. I teach with a aim to encourage some skills taught in class to  be transferred into every day life and activities helping people to be strong & healthy in their life now and in later life.

I see any professional development courses, time spent reading books studying or researching as an opportunity to explore, learn more and actualize my potential. 

Professional

A City & Guilds Cert in Exercise Studies in the 90s was the start of my Professional Journey into Health & Fitness.

Dedicated

I have always followed my own unique and authentic path never hesitating even when it got tough, and I honestly believe I found my true purpose in life.
